Introduction

Jigsaw AI is operated by an individual trading as Jigsaw AI (“we” or “us”). We are the data controller for the processing described in this policy. You can contact us at support@puzzlejigsawai.com.

This policy covers the Jigsaw AI iOS app and puzzlejigsawai.com. The website provides app, legal, and support information; cloud creation takes place through the app. Reading this policy or using the service does not replace consent where the law requires it.

Information we collect and why

We collect information you provide, information generated when you use the service, and information received from providers that support purchases, advertising, and app operation.

• Account information: the app creates an account using a random identifier, without requiring your name, email, or password. Account and installation identifiers support cloud access, creation history, and usage limits. These identifiers can link records to the same user; they are not fully anonymous.
• Prompts and creations: we process your ideas, selected styles, instructions prepared for generation, generated images, and request or safety results to create artwork, provide history, and prevent misuse. This includes records of blocked or unsuccessful requests.
• Technical information: device and app details, IP addresses, errors, crashes, performance information, and selected usage events help deliver and secure the service and diagnose problems. Diagnostic reports may be associated with your account identifier.
• Purchases and advertising: subscription, transaction, and entitlement information helps verify purchases and restore access. Advertising services may process device identifiers, IP-based approximate location, ad interactions, and consent choices to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
• Support information: we receive your email address, message, and anything else you choose to send when you contact us. We use this information to respond and handle privacy requests.
• Local information: ordinary puzzle progress, completed puzzles, settings, achievements, and streaks are stored on your device. AI creations also have cloud records. Eligible local data may be included in Apple device backups according to your settings. The app does not request contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone access.

AI processing

Your prompt is sent to OpenAI for an automated safety check. Allowed requests are processed by AI image generation services. Generated images are stored in our cloud service and made available in your creation history. Blocked prompts and safety results may also be stored, even when no image is produced.

Do not include sensitive or confidential information in a prompt. Jigsaw AI does not use your prompts or images to train AI models owned by us. Provider processing, retention, and any model-improvement use depend on the applicable provider terms, data controls, and agreements. We do not promise zero retention by those providers. Contact support if you believe a request was blocked incorrectly.

Legal bases for processing

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of a contract for requested cloud features and paid access; legitimate interests for service security, fraud prevention, necessary diagnostics, and support; and legal obligations for required records and privacy requests. Our legitimate interests are subject to your rights.

We rely on consent where required for advertising, non-essential device storage, or other processing. You may withdraw consent through the available privacy controls or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.

Sharing information

We use service providers for the purposes described below. Providers processing information on our behalf act under the applicable processing arrangements. Some providers, including Apple and advertising partners, also process information under their own privacy policies.

• Cloud and AI services process account records, prompts, images, and safety results to operate cloud creation and storage.
• Purchase and subscription services, including Apple and our subscription-management provider, process transaction information and account identifiers to verify purchases, manage access, and restore subscriptions.
• Advertising services, including Google Mobile Ads and its partners, process advertising and consent information to deliver and measure rewarded ads.
• Diagnostics, hosting, and support providers process technical information or support messages to monitor reliability, deliver the website, protect the service, and respond to enquiries.
• We may disclose relevant information to authorities or professional advisers when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and address fraud or misuse.

Advertising, cookies, and privacy choices

Free creation attempts may involve rewarded ads. Where required by Google’s consent platform, Ad Privacy Choices appears in Settings so you can review or change available choices. Advertising consent is separate from Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission.

Advertising disclosures may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some laws, even without payment for the information. Where applicable, use Ad Privacy Choices or contact us to exercise your opt-out rights.

Our website does not include Jigsaw AI analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Hosting services still process technical requests for delivery and security. The app separately uses local storage and service-provider technologies for gameplay, sessions, purchases, ads, and privacy preferences.

Storage and deletion

Cloud account information, prompts, images, and history are kept to provide your account and creations until account deletion or other cleanup. Blocked-request records may remain with the account. Support information is kept to resolve enquiries, handle follow-up, document requests, and meet related legal obligations. Diagnostic records, provider logs, and backups follow the relevant service settings, security needs, and legal requirements.

Use Settings > Delete Account to delete your cloud account and linked data. Successful deletion also removes local AI creations and unfinished AI puzzles. If deletion fails, retry or contact support.

Your ordinary game data stays on your device. We retain your installation identifier and used free allowance to prevent resets, with no automatic expiry. Some provider logs, backups, and independently held records may remain.

Deleting a gallery item removes only its local copy; cloud sync may restore it. Uninstalling the app does not delete your cloud account. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage it separately through your Apple Account.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted connections, access controls, private cloud image storage, and secure storage for session information to protect data. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep your device and private creation links secure, and contact us about suspected misuse.

Our providers operate internationally, including in the United States. Your information may be processed outside your country, where data-protection laws differ. Contact us for information about the processing locations and transfer safeguards applicable to your data, including how to obtain further details or copies of relevant safeguards.

Your privacy rights

Email support@puzzlejigsawai.com to request access, correction, deletion, or help exercising your rights. We may ask for proportionate information to locate your records and verify the request. Do not send passwords or session credentials. Rights depend on applicable law and may have exceptions; we will explain any refusal and available complaint or appeal options.

• EU/EEA and United Kingdom: where applicable, you may access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your data; object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; and withdraw consent. You can complain to your data-protection authority. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to permitted extensions.
• Türkiye: where Law No. 6698 applies, you may learn about processing and recipients, request correction or deletion, ask that relevant recipients be informed, object to adverse results arising solely from automated analysis, and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Requests are normally answered within 30 days.
• United States: where the CCPA or another state privacy law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Authorized agents may act where permitted, subject to verification. We do not unlawfully discriminate for exercising rights. CCPA access, correction, and deletion requests are generally answered within 45 days, subject to permitted extensions.
• Other locations: you retain the rights provided by the mandatory laws that apply to you. We handle requests about our processing and may direct you to another provider for information it controls independently.

Children and teenagers

Jigsaw AI is for users aged 13 and over and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and arrange deletion as appropriate.

The app does not independently verify age or provide a parental-consent process. Higher local consent ages and other protections may apply to teenagers. Do not use a feature that requires parental authorization if that authorization cannot be obtained through the service. Teenagers and their parents or guardians can contact us about privacy and safety concerns.

Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date appear on this page. We will provide additional notice or request consent where required by law.
